TOMOGRAPHY (CT) and ANGIOGRAPHY TUBES

 X-ray tubes are one of the most substantial parts of computerized tomography (CT) and angiography devices in radiology sector. Any failure in x ray tubes can make those devices nonfunctional.   Nonfunctionality of these devices that are high cost and occupying an important place in medical imaging may cause losses economically and in terms of health. MEDAP as a company genrated a idea of local production of x ray tubes in order to prevent these kinds of losses experienced in Turkey.  

MEDAP has been producing x ray tubes for CT and angiography within its facility. High qualified, long-lasting, and cost-effective x ray tubes for HITACHI, PHILIPS,TOSHIBA, GE, SIEMENS and SCHIMADZU branded devices. Thanks to our investment for x ray tubes of CT and angiography in our country, costs of tubes have decreased highly. 
 

With the aim of preventing x-ray tube import, MEDAP started to home production of tubes and sell them to private, university, and state hospitals with low costs in Turkey. By means of this enterprise and at the same time by providing hospitals with technical service for x ray tubes, MEDAP created a new market in Turkey.
